A practical test must be taken and passed before a crane operator's certificate for the G5 Offshore Crane can be issued. The test must be carried out offshore with an approved sensor. We have 5 internal sensors for the G5 offshore crane that can do these tests. In addition, our customers can appoint internal auditors in the company approved by STQ. We offer sensor courses over 2 days, which must be updated every 4 years.

The sensorevaluates and approves new operators of offshore cranes with the completion of a practical test in accordance with guidelines given by STQ. A sensor cannot have had the role of mentor, or in any way been involved in the training of the candidate who will take the practical test.
